South Korea: Major mills trim domestic scrap prices by up to $23/t

South Korea’s major steelmakers POSCO and SeAH Steel plan to lower domestic scrap prices of all grades from 4 Jul’22, as per Steel Daily.
POSCO will trim prices for the Pohang plant by KRW 30,000/t ($23) and for Gwangyang by KRW 25,000/t ($19).
SeAH Besteel will also lower prices by KRW 30,000/t ($23).
