South Korea: Major mills lower scrap buy prices by up to $15/t

South Korean steel majors – Hyundai Steel, POSCO, and Dongkuk Steel – announced to cut domestic scrap prices of all grades, effective from 15 July, as per Steel Daily.
Hyundai Steel has trimmed prices by KRW 10,000/t ($8/) for Pohang, Dangjin, and Incheon steelworks and Dongkuk Steel has cut prices by the same proportion for Incheon and Pohang plants.
POSCO has reduced prices by KRW 20,000/t ($15/t).
