South Korea: Major mills cut scrap procurement prices by KRW 10,000/t ($7/t)

South Korean steel mills have decided to reduce the scrap procurement prices of all grades by KRW 10,000/t ($7/t). Korea Steel will implement this price cut starting 27 Jun’24, while Hyundai Steel’s Incheon and Dangjin plants will follow suit from 1 Jul.
