South Korea: Major mill raises scrap purchase prices by $16/t

A major South Korean mill, Dongkuk Steel, increased its scrap purchase prices by up to KRW 20,000/t ($16/t) from 27 Dec, as per SteelDaily reports. The company has increased the purchase prices for its Incheon plant. It hiked prices in response to an increase in domestic scrap demand.
