South Korea: KOSPO floats a 160,000 t-thermal coal procurement tender

Korea Southern Power Co Ltd (KOSPO) has invited bids to procure 160,000 t of 3800-4990 kcal/kg GAR grade thermal coal, a tender notification showed. Out of the total volume, 80,000 t is for KOSPO and another 80,000 t for Korea East-West Power Co (EWP). The bid closing date is 4 Oct’22. The power company has barred sellers of Russian coal to bid for the tender.
