South Korea: Iron ore and pellet imports rise 6%, m-o-m, in July

South Korea’s iron ore and pellet imports increased by 5.58% m-o-m in Jul’22 to 5.89 mnt from 5.58 mnt in Jun, as per customs data. Australia and Brazil were the leading exporters at 4.01 mnt and 1.09 mnt respectively. Import volumes fell by 7% to 39.81mnt y-o-y in Jan-Jul’22 compared to 42.79 mnt in the same period last year.
