- South Korean steel major, Hyundai Steel, is all set to raise its domestic scrap purchase prices by KRW 10,000/t ($8) with effect from 8 Oct, as per latest Steel Daily reports.
- The purchase price for the Incheon and Dangjin steelworks of the Korean steel major will rise to KRW 560,000/t ($470), and for the Pohang plant the price will be at KRW 575,000/t ($483).
