South Korean steel major Hyundai Steel has recently announced that it would raise the standard price of rebar by KRW 29,000 won ($24/t) for Feb’22, as per a SteelDaily report. In Jan, the steelmaker has been offering rebar (10mm) at KRW 962,000 won ($795/t).
However, the company hasn’t mentioned the general selling price for distributors, which is a key concern for the secondary market.
