South Korea: Hyundai Steel to hike HR steel prices by $39/t for Apr’23 sales

South Korea’s steel major Hyundai Steel is planning to increase hot-rolled (HR) steel prices by KRW 50,000/t ($39/t) for Apr’23 shipments following the hikes in Feb’23 and Mar’23, SteelDaily reported. Meanwhile, there is growing interest in whether the prices hikes will continue as imported goods prices are on the rise and there is a delay in demand recovery.
