South Korea: Hyundai Steel raises bids for high-grade Japanese scrap

South Korean steel major Hyundai Steel has placed bids for Japanese ferrous scrap higher by JPY 4,000/t ($36) against the last assessment on 9 Jun’21, as per SteelMint reports. Bids for HS grade scrap have settled at JPY 56,000/t CFR. The company, however, has not issued any bids for H2 grade scrap. In contrast, steel giant Posco has presented bids for Japanese shredded scrap at JPY 59,000/t CFR.
