South Korean steel giant Hyundai Steel has released its operational results today for Q2 CY’21. Highlights:
- Crude steel production increased by 3.4% q-o-q to 4.65 mn t, almost stable y-o-y.
- Steel sales were up by 2.2% q-o-q to 5.03 mn t, higher by 7.8% y-o-y.
- Increasing demand and improved market conditions boosted the company’s steel production and sales in Q2.
