South Korea: HRC and plate exports to India rise 27% in Jun ’21

South Korea’s HRC and plate exports to India stood at 92,026 tonnes (t) in Jun ’21, up 27% as against 72,330 t in the previous month, as per customs data maintained with SteelMint. However, in the Jan-Jun ’21 period (H1) export volumes moved down by 2% y-o-y to 486,505 t in comparison with 494,618 t in the same period last year. India mainly imports API grade hot-rolled coils from South Korea.
