South Korea: Hot rolled stainless steel exports drop by over 30%, y-o-y, in Nov-21

South Korea’s exports of wide stainless steel strips stood at 42,612 t in Nov’21, down 1.9% on month and 31% y-o-y. The biggest chunk of exports went to Southeast Asian countries including Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan. In Nov, South Korea exported 35,102 t of hot rolled stainless steel 300 series products at an average price of $2,305/t.
