South Korea: Ferrous scrap imports up by 33% m-o-m in Feb’23

South Korea imported 401,407 t of ferrous scrap in Feb’23, an increase of 33% m-o-m as against 301,742 t in Jan’23, according to SteelMint’s data.
Japan continued to be the largest exporter at 250,895 t followed by USA at 57,632 t and Russia at 35,390 t.
On a y-o-y basis, imports dipped by 9% as compared to 369,808 t in Feb’22.
