South Korea: Ferrous scrap imports up 4% m-o-m in Oct’22

South Korea imported 340,944 t of ferrous scrap in Oct’22 as against 327,705 t in Sep’22, an increase of 4% m-o-m, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
Japan continued to be the major exporter at 291,588 t followed by USA at 17,814 t and Russia at 15,631 t.
Total import volumes in Jan-Oct’22 stood at 3.82 mnt, a rise of 4% y-o-y.
