Ferrous scrap imports to South Korea witnessed a slight fall in Aug’20 by 9% and stood at 0.26 mn t, as per SteelMint statistics. Imports from Japan fell by 22% m-o-m to 0.14 mn t in Aug’20 due to high prices amid tight availability. However, imports from Russia increased by 20% m-o-m in Aug’20.
