South Korea: Ferrous scrap imports almost stable y-o-y in CY’22

South Korea’s ferrous scrap imports stood at 4.42 mnt in CY’22, almost stable (-1%) y-o-y compared to 4.46 mnt recorded in CY’21.
Japan was the largest exporter with 3.07 mnt followed by the US and Australia with 0.57 mnt and 0.14 mnt respectively.
South Korea’s ferrous scrap imports went down by 6% m-o-m to 0.29 mnt in Dec’22 from 0.31 mnt in Nov’22.
