South Korea: Ferro silicon imports up by 9% m-o-m in Oct’22

South Korea’s ferro silicon imports registered an increase of 9% m-o-m to 13,947 t in Oct’22 from 12,834 t in Sep’22. The key exporting countries were China (7,476 t), Russia (2,672 t), Malaysia (503 t), and Brazil (575 t). Imports were down by 10% q-o-q to 193,182 t in Jan-Oct’22 compared to 215,180 t during same period last year.
