South Korea: Ferro silicon imports surge nearly 50%, m-o-m, in July

South Korea’s ferro silicon imports increased by 46% m-o-m to 24,650 t in Jul’22 as against 16,841 t in Jun. However, on a yearly basis, imports decreased by 12% to 138,630 t in Jan-Jul’22. The top exporters in Jul were China at 17,924 t followed by Russia at 3,492 t and Brazil at 1,727 t.
