South Korea: Ferro manganese exports up 21%, m-o-m, in Aug’21

South Korea’s exports of ferro manganese surged by 21% to 18,893 t, m-o-m, in Aug’21 against 15,679 t in Jul. The increase in exports was mainly due to higher purchases by Netherlands and India owing to recovering steel demand. The Netherlands remained the largest importer followed by India and Japan. On the other hand, South Korea’s silico mangnaese exports moved up by 4.4% in Aug.
