South Korea: Ferro chrome imports fall sharply by 42%, m-o-m in September

South Korea’s high carbon ferro chrome imports decreased sharply by 42% m-o-m to 25,776 t in Sep’22 from 44,362 t in Aug’22, as per customs data.
Though South Africa was the largest exporter, imports from the country fell by 46% m-o-m to 10,687 t in Sep as demand in Korea was hit by Typhoon Hinnamnor.
Cumulative imports in Jan-Sep’22 decreased by 6% y-o-y to 390,619 t.
