South Korea: Ferro chrome imports decline 10% m-o-m in Feb’22

South Korea’s ferro chrome imports decreased by 10% m-o-m to 47,662 t in Feb’22 from 53,168 t in Jan’22. On a y-o-y basis, the same increased by 18%. The m-o-m decline in imports was due to a sudden spike in Covid cases globally. However, the major exporting countries to South Korea in Feb’22 were South Africa (19,234 t), India (15,309 t), Kazakhstan (7,243 t) and Russia (2,205 t).
