South Korea: Ferro Alloy Imports Up by 11% M-o-M in Dec’17

According to the South Korean customs, the country has witnessed an increase of 11% M-o-M in its Ferro Alloy imports.

In Dec’17, South Korea imported a total of 0.1 MnT Ferro Alloys against 0.09 MnT in Nov’17. However, on yearly basis, there has been an increase of 25% as South Korea imported 0.08 MnT in Dec’16.

In Dec’17, Korea imported 0.06 MnT of Ferro Chrome, 0.02 MnT Ferro Silicon, and 0.02 MnT Silico Manganese. South Korea registered a substantial increase of 20% M-o-M in its Ferro Chrome imports, while Ferro Silicon import reduced by 0.01 MnT in Dec’17. South Korea also witnessed an increase of 0.01 MnT in its Silico Manganese imports.

South Africa recorded as the biggest Ferro Alloys exporter to South Korea at 0.03 MnT, followed by India and China at 0.02 MnT each.
