South Korea: Electro-galvanised steel sheet exports rise by 6%, y-o-y, in CY’21

South Korea’s exports of electro-galvanised (EGI) steel sheets increased by 6% to 740,142 t in CY’21 compared with 697,318t in CY’20. In Dec’21, export volumes stood at 63,144t, largely stable on the month but up 11% compared to the same period last year. The major export destinations were China, Latin America and Europe, as per a Steel Daily report.
