South Korea: Billets exports fall sharply by 74% m-o-m in Jan’23

South Korea’s steel billets exports fell sharply by 74% m-o-m to 22,323 t in Jan’23 compared to 86,629 t in Dec’22, as per customs data.
Mexico and Japan were the largest importers with 12,269 t and 10,034 t respectively.
However, on a y-o-y basis, exports surged by 111% y-o-y compared to 10,586 t in Jan’22.
