In a confirmed deal, 5,000 tonne of South African RB2 coal (5500 NAR) has been booked for INR 4,550/t ex-Gangavaram. However, many sellers are still keeping offers higher at INR 4,650/t amid rising index prices. At other ports RB2 prices are assessed at INR 4,750/t (ex-Krishnapatnam), INR 5,450 (ex-Haldia). RB1 prices at Kandla port are at INR 5,400/t. Prices are exclusive of cess and GST.
