South African RB2 coal traded at INR 6,500 at Haldia port

In a confirmed deal, 5,000 t of South African RB2 coal (5500 kcal/kg NAR) has been sold at INR 6,500/t ex-Haldia (exclusive of cess and GST), down by INR 200/t w-o-w basis. RB2 portside prices at various other ports have come down this week amid high stock at Indian ports and limited buying interest. Prices at Krishnapatnam port are heard at INR 5,700-5,800/t and ex-Gangavaram portside prices are assessed at INR 5,500/t.
