In a confirmed deal, 5,000t of South African RB2 coal (5500 kcal/kg NAR) booked at INR 5,950/t ex-Haldia, while RB1 offers at Kandla port are assessed at INR 5,650/t (exclusive of cess and GST). Although participants have returned to the market post Diwali holidays, not many portside deals have been concluded. The South African API4 index is stable this week and currently at $66.8/t.
