RB2 (5500 NAR) coal prices at Ganagavram port is assessed at INR 5,500/t (exclusive of cess and GST). The portside trades have turned thin with sponge iron prices falling and sellers holding stock in expectation of price pick-up post Chinese New Year holidays. In fact, few traders in the market are not ready to lower down their offers below INR 5,800/t, CoalMint learned from market sources.
