South African RB2 coal portside coal traded at INR 5,600/t ex-Gangavaram

In a confirmed deal, 3,000 t of South African RB2 coal (5500 kcal/kg NAR) has been sold at INR 5,600/t ex-Gangavaram (exclusive of cess and GST). CoalMint learnt from its market sources that few major traders are yet unwilling to lower their offers below INR 5,700/t citing no irregularities over committed grades, others are selling at lower rates amid falling API4 index post holidays.
