UMK, world’s largest manganese ore miner, has raised offers for South African manganese ore lumps (Mn 37%) by $0.2/dmtu to $4.35/dmtu CIF China for Feb’23 shipments. Meanwhile, Jupiter increased ore prices by $0.26/dmtu m-o-m to $4.36/dmtu. However, the hike in raw material prices showed no impact on silico manganese prices as these are stable amid limited supply in the market.
