Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) has mandated crew members of vessels arriving from India or en routing it’s last ten port of call in India to be tested for COVID-19. This process would result in berthing delays of around two days and increased demurrage cost that would ultimately make South African coal costlier for Indian buyers, informed market participants.
