After a week-long strike, Transnet has reached a three-year wage agreement with the United National Transport Union (UNTU). It will be applicable from 1 Apr’22-31 Mar’25. However, a locomotive derailment is now being heard on the Transnet’s main line to RBCT Port which is affecting coal deliveries.
