Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) has cleared all 97 derailed wagons from the derailment site at the North Corridor, almost 24 hours sooner than was anticipated. However, TFR is yet to announce the dates for train operations to resume as it determines the extent of the damage following the derailment. The force majeure remains in place as the rail line is closed.
