South Africa: Silico manganese exports drop by 28%, m-o-m, in Mar’22

South Africa’s silico manganese exports stood at 13,093 t in Mar’22, down by 28% m-o-m as against to 18,253 t in Feb’22, according to customs data. USA remained as the largest importer despite a drop in the import volume by 50% m-o-m in March. However, South Africa’s ferro manganese exports rose significantly by 168% m-o-m in the month.
