South Africa: RB3 grade coal sold at INR 13,700/t at Gopalpur Port

In a confirmed deal, three rakes of South African RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) grade coal were sold at INR 13,700/t at Gopalpur Port, while advance bookings of the grade for an Oct’22 delivery cargo were offered at INR 14,500/t at Haldia Port. Low-CV South African coal demand continues to gain strength in India amid its rising blending usage with alternate origins.
