Services at Transnet’s two ports in KwaZulu-Natal, Richards Bay and Durban, which were gripped by shutdowns, looting and burning of businesses last week, started to improve since the latter half of last week, as per reports. Richards Bay had managed to clear all shipping backlogs, and truck movements ferrying dry bulk commodities have also commenced.
