In Q1FY’26 (Jul-Sep’25), Jupiter Mines recorded a 32% y-o-y decline in manganese ore production from its Tshipi mine, to 0.82 mnt from 1.21 mnt in Q1FY’25. The decrease was mainly attributed to pit-access limitations caused by water ingress, which hindered ore extraction. Meanwhile, sales dropped by 19% y-o-y to 0.83 mnt, largely due to weak manganese product prices and subdued global steel demand.
