South Africa: Ferro chrome exports increase by nearly 40%, m-o-m, in Jan’22

South African ferro chrome exports increased by 38% m-o-m to 0.368 mnt in Jan’22 from 0.266 mnt in Dec’21, while exports dropped by 9% y-o-y in Jan’22, SteelMint data reveal. The major exporting countries were China with 0.107 mnt followed by Indonesia with 0.091 mnt, UAE with 0.048 mnt and South Korea with 0.046mnt.
