South Africa: Coal miner Seriti aiming for exports from new Largo mine

Amid rising demand for coal exports, South African coal miner Seriti Resources is aiming to export some part of the coal produced from its New Largo mine project, Chief Executive Mike Teke said. About 60% of the coal produced from the mine is used in the Kusile coal-fired power plant owned by state power company Eskom, while the rest is exported.
