South Africa: Chrome ore exports increase by 5%, m-o-m, in July

  • South Africa’s chrome ore exports increased by 5.3% m-o-m to 1.16 mnt in Jul’22, as per customs data maintained with SteelMint.
  • China was the leading importer at 0.58 mnt, up by 5.3% m-o-m. Meanwhile, exports to other countries stood at 0.58 mnt, down by 0.3% m-o-m.
