South Africa: Chrome ore exports drop 28%, m-o-m, in April

South Africa’s chrome ore exports decreased by 28% m-o-m to 981,000 t in Apr’22 from 1.358 mnt in Mar. Chrome ore exports remained stable at 4.89 mnt in Jan-Apr this year. Chrome ore from South Africa was exported primarily to China, followed by Mozambique, Hong Kong and Indonesia in Apr.
