In Q1FY26, South32’s manganese ore production rose significantly y-o-y to 1.405 mnt (wet basis) led by Australian output increasing to 0.854 mnt, while South African production fell 8% to 0.551 mnt. FY26 guidance is at 3.2 mnt for Australia, affected by the wet season, and 2 mnt for South Africa. Australian sales climbed to 0.944 mnt, supported by new wharf infrastructure.
