South 32 has increased prices of Australian manganese ore lumps (Mn 45%) by $0.58/dmtu to $6/dmtu for Mar’23 shipments. It has also raised South African semi-carbonated manganese ore prices by $0.27/dmtu m-o-m to $4.65/dmtu. All prices are CIF China. The price hike was primarily due to a surge in demand from China, sources informed.
