South 32 raises manganese ore offers to China by upto 18% m-o-m for Jan ’21 shipments

South32 has increased prices by up to 18% m-o-m for Jan ’21 shipments and is offering Australian manganese ore lumps (Mn 45%) at $4.98/dmtu CIF China and the South African semi-carbonate ore at $4.5/dmtu CIF China. The steady upward trend in manganese alloys coupled with higher domestic production cost has prompted the miner to raise prices.
