Soma Mondal has taken over as the chairman of PSU steel behemoth SAIL from 01 Jan’21. She was Director (Commercial) of SAIL before assuming charge as chairman. Under her leadership SAIL has introduced new products such as SeQR rebars and NEX stucturals. Mondal was Director (Commercial) of PSU aluminum major NALCO before joining SAIL.
