Singbhum Minerals Company, operated by Thriveni Earth Movers, had restarted operations at Jharkhand mines in last month. The company has opened Iron ore prices for sales in February, 2014.

The mines have an Environment Clearance (EC) of 4 MnT pa, which is expected to move up by 1.5 MnT in FY15.

Current Iron Ore Prices of Singbhum Minerals

Cr 10-40 mm – INR 4500/MT

Cr 5-18 mm – INR 4900/MT

Grade – 60-62% Fe

Prices are ex-Jharkhand, including royalty

Singbhum Minerals Company is owned by Rathod family. Previously, mining operations of the company was taken care by Taurian Iron & Steel.

Thriveni Earthmovers P Ltd (TEMPL) is engaged as a mine raising contractor by seven lesses, namely KJS Ahluwalia, Kalinga Mining Corporation, Indrani Patnaik, D R Patnaik, R P Sao, Serajuddin & Company and NKPK.
