Sponge Iron Manufacturers Association (SIMA) has requested Indian Department of Commerce to release trucks to Bangladesh. Prior to this, WBSIMA had requested the Govt of West Bengal to release 4000 trucks carrying sponge iron which are stuck at the border for quite a long time because of lockdown.
