Serajuddin Mines & Co. – one of the prominent miners based in the state of Odisha has lowered Iron ore prices for both Sized Iron ore (lumps) as well as fines by Rs 200/MT and Rs 100/MT respectively, w.e.f 19 June.
Serajuddin Mines Iron ore prices w.e.f 19 June:
Sized Iron ore (lumps) 5-18 mm Fe 63 = Rs 5,400/MT, down by Rs 200/MT
Iron ore fines Fe 63 = Rs 1,500/MT, down by Rs 100/MT
Ex-Mines prices including Royalty.
Previous to this, the miner had on the 22nd of February, lowered prices of fines by Rs 300/MT to Rs 1,600/MT. Whereas, lumps prices remained unchanged then.
Iron ore prices in the state of Odisha have been under pressure on account of low demand from Sponge iron units and increase in supply of Iron Pellet.
