Semi finish price see lot of up and down swing in trade. MS Ingot price in Mandi open at Rs 32,000/MT that was down by Rs 300 (from Tuesday trade) soon it again touch Rs 32,200 in afternoon session with good buying sentiment and closed at Rs 32500/MT. 'Imported scrap prices remain high along with high power prices, so we don't see any correction in price' said Ingot manufacturer.
After Mandi increases its prices; buying sentiments start improving accross other Mandi's. Raipur market open Ingot at Rs 27800/MT soon seller raise offer to Rs 27900-28000/MT on improved buying. MCX STEELRPR open at Rs 27760/MT touch high at Rs 27980/MT up by Rs 220 and closes at Rs 27800/MT
Sponge prices also seen up and down swing as Raipur buyer in morning ignores the offer of Rs 19200/MT and later on day trade were made at Rs 19300-400/MT
Maharashtra strike over LBT issue continue to remain as trader, broker and manufacturer hold all trade activity. Federation Association of Maharashtra says 'Strike will continue till LBT will be abolish in the state, all association are actively participating in the bandh across state'
